Research Interests
- Landscape pathology, specifically the interactions between land use history and forest pest & pathogen dynamics.
- Ecosystem ecology, focusing on the biogeochemical relationships between vegetation composition and soils.
- Plant community ecology and succession, particularly the connections between disturbance and ecosystem function.
- Reconstruction of pre-settlement forest composition.
